Who Is BTL

BeyondTheory Logistics was founded to address the frustrations of customers, infection control experts and manufacturers of products in the commercial janitorial supplies industry.

 

The source of these frustrations?  Hidden financial conflicts of interest driving unacceptable outcomes and poor compliance. With an OBVIOUS problem and an EASY solution, industry and outside leaders stepped up and decided to take action.  ELIMINATE these conflicts and build a new distribution model focused on the right thing (customer benefits) from the beginning.  While many have talked or written papers about the theory of the necessary change, we went BEYOND just the theory and put our careers and reputations on the line to actually do the right thing.

What would it say about us, or anyone else with this knowledge, if we made the choice NOT to do the right thing and let families, businesses and our communities suffer because the "gravy train" was convenient?  UNACCEPTABLE!

 

Since the biggest distributors refused to even acknowledge the extent of these hidden payments, a group of industry executives, consultants, entrepreneurs and those with a conscience, committed to doing the right thing and started a company that insists on aligning the goals of customers, manufacturers and the public with the role of a distributor.

 

How can a distributor be aligned with the goals of a school district, hospital, high-tech clean room or a local government if they hide financial incentives that lead to poor compliance of cleaning standards?  The simple answer is they cannot.

This is why BTL is different from a traditional distributor. Because we started with the right focus (customer benefits) and built our company around what it would take to always support that focus, we never fear being asked the smart questions by customers.
